From the Pink City to UC Berkeley — a journey of dance and design
Our founder grew up in Jaipur surrounded by the city’s legendary dance culture and the intricate beauty of Indian textiles—hand-blocks, looms, and generations of craft.
Her journey took her to UC Berkeley, California, where she balanced academic life with her love for design and dance. What started as DIY costume projects for university dance troupes soon revealed a clear gap: dancers worldwide needed authentic, high-quality Indian dance costumes that fit well, perform well, and feel true to tradition.
That need became Rhythm.
